I've created a new Twitter account, just for this site, and I have added the Twitter module to this drupal web site. It's pretty nice - now when I create a new blog entry, a new tweet goes out automatically with the title and a link back. That means links back to my site, the opportunity to reach new readers, and all kinds of good things.

This is early, of course - I don't even have any followers for my new account. (My personal account has some people following it, so I had better at least tweet my new account so folks know what to follow.) But Twitter gets picked up by Google, and links also get picked up, even when the link is disguised by a tinyurl address - Google will go ahead and translate that.

I will be tweeting all kinds of stuff from my new account, not just blog entries, so if you want to follow me, I'd be delighted to have you.
